Pendle churches are launching a Street Pastors Team in Pendle.

Street Pastors is an Interdenominational Church response to neighborhood problems; engaging with people on the streets and in night-time venues to care, listen, dialogue and offer practical help.

Street Pastors are already operating in a third of London boroughs, as well as in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Leicester, Southend and Wrexham, and have seen significant reductions in street crime in those areas.
